Increasingly, heavy duty pickups like Ford's F-250, 350, and 450 have become both the required muscle of tough jobs, and rolling tool boxes. In order to ensure their longevity and usefulness, the Detroit automaker has been updating its lineup with the latest tech, including military grade aluminum. Now, the Super Duty line is getting this update.
Today, Ford took the wraps off its heavy lifters, and showcased its new design and a list of features so long we scarcely know where to start. On the looks end, the truck is fairly familiar, but boasts an all-new two-piece grille that looks nothing short of awesome. As for inner workings, we're still waiting to learn more about its capability, but that'll come soon.
The 2017 Super Duty line will begin production next autumn in Kentucky.
