The Continuously Controlled Damping (CCD) system dynamically adjusts shock absorber stiffness in real time to match the road surface and driver inputs. It's fully automatic depending on the drive mode you select. It monitors suspension position, vehicle loading, vehicle speed, road conditions and steering to adjust suspension damping for enhanced vehicle control, particularly when towing or hauling heavy loads. Standard on Limited, and available on LARIAT, King Ranch® and Platinum.
